Inter Milan goalkeeper launches new project to boost Cameroonian football in Spain
The André Onana Foundation and Club Deportivo Getafe Femenino formalise a collaboration agreement for the promotion and development of Cameroonian football. The alliance will give players from André Onana’s club, l’Eclair de Saa (Yaoundé), the opportunity to play in Spain and showcase their talent in European football. The first activation of this project has been formalised with the incorporation of two Cameroonian players in the ranks of C.D. Getafe.
The Inter Milan goalkeeper, together with Joseph Sanam, Founder of the Alma Sports representation agency, has initiated this new project with the aim of fighting for equality and promoting the talent that resides in Cameroon and has the ability to shine in Europe.
Raissa Mbappé and Rose Priso are the first two players who have started this new stage in their professional career and have joined the discipline of C.D. Getafe Femenino.
Joseph Sanam stresses the importance of continuing to “build alliances with different clubs in Spain to offer more opportunities to players who can make a difference”. For his part, Alberto Pascual, sporting director of C.D. Getafe Femenino, has expressed the desire to continue “collaborating with Eclair de Saa in future projects for the good of Cameroonian football”, as well as thanking “the great detail and nice gesture that André Onana has visited the players and the club”.
